Please follow this naming convention for photo files you upload:
YYYYMMDD_HHmmSS_multi_word_description.jpg
where YYYY, MM, DD, HH, mm, SS are digits for year, month, day, hour, minute and second respectively. (Some phones and cameras automatically use this naming scheme. If yours does, it makes your job easier.) The MMDD_HHmmSS elements are all optional if you don't know them, or if they are not important. This file-naming convention makes them sort in the order in which they were taken, making it easy to find and manage for everyone.
As an IMPORTANT side effect, it also makes the photo descriptions in our slide show very helpful. Example: the file name
produces this description of the photo in the slide show (automated by the logic that generates the slide-show web page):
Also, double underscores ("__"), 2 consecutive spaces, or space-hyphen-space (" - ") in a file name will be replaced with an em-dash (same kind of dash that separates the time and description above).
